Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of vexer (the "Service") — the chat application and API at vexer.chat — operated by [PFA legal name — fill in before launch] ([CUI / registration number]), Romania. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
vexer provides a unified interface and API to third-party AI models (including models from Anthropic, OpenAI and xAI) accessed through an upstream provider. We route your requests to those models and return their output. We do not create the models and do not guarantee the accuracy, suitability, or availability of any model or its responses.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials and API keys secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and keys. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and legally able to enter into this agreement.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break any law, or infringe others' rights (including IP and privacy);
- generate or distribute malware, spam, or content that sexually exploits minors;
- harass, threaten, or deceive others, or impersonate any person or entity;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or abuse the Service or its upstream providers, or to circumvent rate limits, billing, or security;
- violate the usage policies of the underlying model providers.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that put our upstream provider accounts at risk.
4. Billing
The Service is pay-per-use. You purchase credits, and usage is metered per token and deducted from your balance. Prices are shown before purchase. Credits are for use of the Service and are consumed as you make requests. See the Refund Policy for refunds. We may change prices prospectively; changes do not affect credits already purchased.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the inputs you submit and, to the extent permitted by the model providers, the outputs you receive. You are responsible for your inputs and for how you use outputs. AI output can be inaccurate — do not rely on it as professional (legal, medical, financial) advice.
6. Availability & disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and upstream models may change or become unavailable.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your mandatory consumer rights under EU/Romanian law.
8. Changes & termination
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the account page. We may suspend or end the Service or your access as described above.
