Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data vexer, operated by [PFA legal name — fill in before launch], Romania, collects and how we use it. We act as the data controller for your account and usage data. Contact: support@vexer.chat.

What we collect

  • Account — your email and authentication identifiers, handled by our auth provider (Clerk).
  • Conversations — the messages you send and the model replies, stored so you can return to them.
  • Usage & billing — per-request token counts and amounts charged; payment is processed by Stripe (we do not store card numbers).
  • Technical — basic logs (hashed user id, timing, model, no message content) for security and reliability, and privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.

How we use it

To provide and secure the Service, meter and bill usage, maintain your chat history, prevent abuse, and comply with law. Our legal bases (GDPR Art. 6) are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and legal obligations.

Sharing & sub-processors

We share data only with the processors needed to run the Service: our auth provider (Clerk), database host (Neon), hosting (Vercel), payment processor (Stripe), and the upstream AI provider that routes requests to the model vendors (Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI). Your prompts are sent to the upstream provider and the relevant model vendor to generate a response. We do not sell your data.

Retention

We keep conversations until you delete them or your account. Usage/billing records are kept as required for accounting and tax. You can delete your data at any time (below).

Your rights

Under GDPR you can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and object to or restrict processing. You can export or permanently delete your account and all associated data yourself from the account page, or email us. You may also complain to your data protection authority (in Romania, ANSPDCP).

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for sign-in and security (set by Clerk). Our analytics are cookieless. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18.

Changes

We'll post updates here with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
